First Light - Vintage waterfront home with hot tub, sauna + EV charger

Great location and property but in need of an upgrade Positive: Location is amazing - a short walk to town! Private beach access, sauna and hot tub was the highlight. Amazing views from the huge windows down to the water. Beds were very comfortable. Negative: Property is in need of a lot of upgrades and deep clean - for the price we paid we have had a lot better in Tofino. -Stains in the mugs -Patchy paintwork throughout the house -Dishwasher doesn’t clean dishes properly -Some plates/bowls were dirty when we got them out of the cupboard. -Rust along the baseboards (we know this is an older property but needs an update) -Blinds in upstairs open bedroom are missing the closer rod so you have to awkwardly twist it with your hands -Stains on some of the furniture -We opened one cupboard in the downstairs bathroom to find wet towels -For the size of the Airbnb a washer and dryer access would be a great addition.

Beautiful but neglected. Positive: Great location and lots of space. Negative: It is dated and was not very clean. Cabinets had drip marks everywhere. Floors turned our socks black. Hot Tub was not full of water and had a lot of floaters in it. Dishwasher does not work very well. Most dishes had left over food particles. Coffee cups were stained and too small. Flour or sugar in brown containers had little black bugs in it. Outside cushions for seating were filthy and ripped. Overall the location is beautiful but is in desperate need for updating.

Delightful Positive: The oceanfront location, private, quiet, little heritage cabin was cool to check out, such a rich marriage of old and new interior, superior patio, great sauna, lots of little details that make this place really special. Negative: There are some old features of the house that are needing to be replaced.
