Exactly what we were looking for Positive: Location, view, comfort, reserved parking all pluses.. Loved being part of the harbor community. Just the right amount of boat and sea plane activity. Sunsets gorgeous. Bed and sofa bed comfortable. Kitchen well organized. Exactly what two friends who consider each other family were looking for Negative: Cautionary note that bed is in a tight alcove.Would have liked a small table outdoors for our two chairs, but, hey, that's a very little complaint.

I would most certainly highly recommend the High Tide to anyone. Positive: We lucked out with getting the ground-floor location! It was amazing. Just walk out and see the shoreline, with easy access to the wharf, then the road up to the stores and restaurants. We sat by the window & watched the sunset on our first evening. Sigh. We loved the gas fireplace and used it! The kitchen was well-equipped, and the fridge was immaculate. We were very impressed. The bathroom - the shower was very nice. Negative: The bed. Sitting on the foot end, the head side lifted & dumped me off the foot. The bathroom - no blind for the little window - people in the parking lot can see in.

Tofino Positive: The position was great! The room was on the ground level, so there was no lugging luggage upstairs. The sunset views from the room were beautiful. Negative: The bedroom was tiny. Too small to walk around the bed. The sun in the afternoon was blinding.
